Well, our house journey has taken a whole lot of turns lately, but it seems to be moving forward still. We have known since we moved into this house here back 3 years ago that we'd be moving again someday to find our place to settle down. And I think we've done a pretty good job at bringing this house up in value and beauty.
We recently embarked on an adventure with a local builder, which ended up bringing lots of unwanted pressures, so we graciously let them know this week that we are not going to be building. They fought to get the sale, for almost an hour, along with some other real estate personalities but in the end, we knew in our heart of hearts that it just wouldn't work for us. It really wouldn't have been in our best interest to build this season.
So, these last few days we have ventured in a new direction. Listing our home and pursuing looking at the homes on the market again. And thank God, some new ones were listed this week.
Anyway, to make a long story short, we are trying to listen to God's direction and we are pursing buying a home in a specific neighborhood we've been praying about moving into since we moved in here.
Timing is everything. And so is God. He works in perfect time, and had we waited, we would have known that he would open up something in our price range in that area. We've been watching and waiting for about a year now. And he gave us opportunity this week. Now, we are praying for him to come through and work it all out. -Our sale, our purchase, and all that's included with that.
He is good. He is faithful. He gives insight in perfect timing. -He really brought us thru this week...arranging God encounters..and allowing us to switch things up all on one day, working it out just wonderfully.
Like the song says "what a beautiful mess I'm in..." sometimes I feel like that's life with God. Beautiful, and messy. The mess is ours, he helps us sort through it all.
