I am terrible at updating this blog as I seem to have much more pressing things to do each day, but i thought I'd take a moment to share some thoughts. Over the last year I became aware of something that began a journey of thoughts and prayers. Beginning with the surprise news of my daughters (Hope) coming arrival, and her birth I began to hear of so many friends struggles to conceive. I often wondered why God gave me children so quickly, and waited so long for others, but I now know it all has to do with timing.
Of those friends many who have struggled have found themselves pregnant and due this summer (june-august). Such triumph is marvelous! I am amazed again at the wave of God's presence being so obvious, his touch being evident within all these women.
This week is marked by such sadness as I now find out about some having miscarried or finding defects within the womb that need immediate attention upon birth; it leads me to seek the Lord again. His perfect timing comes to us with surprise sometimes, but I am sensing God is moving mightily. A few months back,when the news came of one dear friend finding out she was expecting, God quickened something within me. This child's birth marks a new season spiritually. I believe it is not just her child, it's the season in which her babe is born. Get ready church, get ready friends and loved ones, this summer marks the beginning of God's glory pouring out in a way we've never known! He is moving. And his time is now. As I pray for those who are grieving the loss of their little one, and celebrate the miracles of life in those who still carry -this week I expect God to make himself known deeper to each and every one who will quiet themselves and allow his presence to overtake them. That's my two sense. I am very excited. And I believe the words that he has promised will come to pass.
